Sociopath: Charming, manipulative, bullying.
Some describe knowing a sociopath as "walking on eggshells" -- never knowing when the negativity will turn back on them in a variety of abusive ways. The sociopath tells them they're paranoid and they're to blame. The range of abuse that sociopaths inflict is endless and can include physical, emotional and psychological abuse.
Think "Ted Bundy" ... charming, attractive, serial killer. From Wikipedia: "Biographer Ann Rule described him as '... a sadistic sociopath who took pleasure from another human's pain and the control he had over his victims, to the point of death, and even after.' "
Today Bundy is back in the news. Before his execution in 1989, he confessed to the deaths of 30 young women. Now new DNA evidence may link him to even more murders. Perhaps it will bring closure to cold cases still lingering unsolved across the country.
