So if Megyn is in at 9, what happens to Sean Hannity?
In a developing story, Drudge reported on Thursday that Megyn Kelly at Fox News Channel, usually an afternoon anchor who is currently on maternity leave, will return to the network at the 9:00 p.m. slot. Since that is where Sean Hannity's show is currently aired, the question becomes what happens to Hannity? And what other shakeups are in store for Fox?

Eric Cantor encourages citizen legislators with Cosponsor.gov
Eric Cantor addresses the crowd at his annual Republican Roundup.
In an effort to make it easier for Americans to be more involved in the legislative process, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-7th) launched a new website on Tuesday called cosponsor.gov.
This latest addition to the Citizen Cosponsor Project provides the opportunity to be citizen legislators by cosponsoring bills they support and track them in a user-friendly way, lessening the bureaucratic maze of Washington, D.C. By using social media, Citizen Cosponsors are updated on the status of their bills through a Facebook app as they move through the various stages of the legislative process.
Anne Sorock at Legal Insurrection praised the Majority Leader's presence in social media:
Noticed the trend of legislators going beyond issuing press releases and fully embracing social media to distribute and market their point-of-view?Dana Perino commented on Tuesday's Fox News Channel's "The Five" about the new user-friendly tool, noting it was a good way to connect citizens with government. Perino was White House press secretary during George W. Bush's administration.
Rep. Darrell Issa has been especially active in marketing himself and his committee’s activities, including design-heavy graphics and an active twitter account.
Today Rep. Eric Cantor’s office launched a new website, Cosponsor.gov, which allows anyone to show their support for bills by clicking a link to “cosponsor” a given bill.
Marking the launch of the new site, Congressman Cantor noted:
“We live in a digital world. As House Majority Leader, I am committed to exploring new and innovative ways to foster a national conversation and improve communication between the American people and their elected officials. The Citizen Cosponsor Project was developed by the Office of the House Majority Leader and is built on Facebook's Open Graph platform. It uses House #OpenData sets released through the House Majority's #OpenGov initiative.
“The launch of Cosponsor.Gov is a sweeping expansion of our Citizen Cosponsor Project. The new website will now feature every bill and resolution introduced in the House, from Republicans and Democrats. I’m excited that any engaged citizen can voice their support, and track the status of legislation in the House.
“The best part of this new website is it’s accessibility and simplicity. You can search by title, sponsor or bill number or browse issue areas and the tracker shows you exactly where the bill stands.
“Whether you want to support new legislation like the Kids First Research Act or show support for legislation that has already passed the House, like the Working Families Flexibility Act, you can do so here.
“Transparency, open government and engagement should be a key goal of all elected leaders in Washington, and Cosponsor.Gov is one step in that direction. Please visit Cosponsor.Gov and tell us what you care about. We are listening.”

Powerhouse Fox News just became stronger
The powerhouse known as Fox News Channel just added a star player to their formidable lineup of TV personalities. The Washington Post is reporting that Fox is about to announce that they have signed on former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as a contributor. But the Post, in their usual swipe at conservatives, couldn't help but add a whole heap of bias to their announcement:Sarah Palin, who regularly rips the media, is becoming a television pundit at a place where she's likely to feel at home."Regularly rips the media"?
Heh. Now she has a gigantic platform to "rip the media" ... Fox News is the #1 cable network by runaway numbers.
This is a win-win for Fox News and Sarah Palin.

Eric Cantor on Friday "Fox and Friends"
I'm watching Fox News Channel's "Fox and Friends" this morning and there's Virginia's own Eric Cantor (R-7th CD), the House Majority Whip, talking with the "Fox and Friends" co-hosts about terrorism and airline security and casting aside a politically correct attitude that dictates that we need to pat down four-year-olds and 80-year-old grandmothers boarding airplanes. We know where the threat comes from, he said, and it's time to focus on that. It was a good conversation.
That was a pleasant surprise this morning.

Lord Monckton, John Bolton on Glenn Beck's TV show today
Tune into Fox News Channel at 5:00 this afternoon for the Glenn Beck show to hear Lord Christopher Monckton, former advisor to Britain's Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, along with former American U.N. Ambassador John Bolton. The entire hour show will be spent with these two guests as they talk about all aspects of the global warming scare and the push for a "new world order" to deal with it.
Hard-hitting news and investigative reporting is coming from Fox News and Glenn Beck as they connect the dots and research the backgrounds of ACORN and White House insiders including Rober McChesney who said:
When young, I was in awe of investigative journalism ... it inspired me to participate in debate and communication and research. What happened to those wordsmiths who presented objective reporting of what they found free of a personal agenda? Many have become zombies of the liberal left, indoctrinated through higher education and insulated in a bubble of like-thinking peers.
Check out Glenn Beck who, with the help of the great research team at Fox News Channel, is finding alarming information and passing it on to the viewers of his TV show and listeners of his radio program. He is breaking news the mainstream media is ignoring ... ignoring at the peril of our country's future.
Today ... 5 pm ... Fox News Channel. Lord Monckton and John Bolton. It will be a powerful hour of TV journalism.

"Any serious effort to reform the media system would have to be necessarily part of a revolutionary program to overthrow the capitalist system itself. Also, there is no real answer, but to remove, brick by brick, the capitalist system itself, rebuilding the entire society on socialist principles."What? Wake up, America ... please.

He is a backer of Hugo Chavez, the crackdown on the media, and even suggested that owners of a TV station that was critical of Chavez should be arrested for treason.

Glenn Beck and Fox News recognized by Thomas Sowell for exposing Obama appointees
Thomas Sowell said it in his column, "Dismantling America":Any miscalculation on his [Barack Obama's] part would be in not thinking that others would discover what these stealth appointees were like. Had it not been for the Fox News Channel, these stealth appointees might have remained unexposed for what they are. Fox News is now high on the administration's enemies list.Glenn Beck has been connecting the dots and exposing the ugly underbelly of the Barack Obama administration.
For that he is vilified not only by the liberals, the White House, Democrats, and moonbats but also by some conservatives and others who seem more content on bashing rather than listening.
Watch Glenn Beck at 5:00 weekday afternoons on Fox News. You may learn something ... and you may even become alarmed at what is being discovered.
Barack Obama said to judge him by the people who surround him. Glenn Beck and Fox News did that. They began researching those people around this president and what they found was disturbing. Wake up, America.

IBD: NYT forgot reporting ... got scooped by Fox News
Investor's Business Daily zings the New York Times in today's editorial:
IBD continued:
It's call journalism. Too bad the MSM forgot that journalism includes fair and balanced reporting. Wonder if they will wake up anytime soon.
I'm not holding my breath.
The New York Times, still smarting after losing scoops to Fox News, has thrown in the towel, vowing to avoid future embarrassment by monitoring the cable channel. We have a better idea — it's called reporting.Zing!
IBD continued:
An Illinois senator rises to the highest office in the land on pillars of a spectacularly slimy political organization, a group with a long record of voter fraud, theft, thuggery and partisanship. As sexy as such a story might seem, the New York Times didn't consider it news.Ouch, ouch, ouch.
That's why the Times got scooped by outlets such as Fox News, for which it has nothing but contempt, on revelations that led to the fall of community organizing behemoth Acorn.
The wound was self-inflicted, rooted in little more than the partisanship of protecting a favored president. It left the field clear for a couple of journalism students to show that Acorn staffers openly encouraged pimping, child prostitution, human trafficking, mortgage fraud and tax evasion.
It's right there on tapes posted to Andrew Breitbart's BigGovernment.com. Unlike the disdainful Times, Fox ran with it, toppling a behemoth of political power.
Fox's judgment now seems to play the role the Times' once did, and the Times is no doubt left wondering how it could have lost out on yet another one.
It's call journalism. Too bad the MSM forgot that journalism includes fair and balanced reporting. Wonder if they will wake up anytime soon.
I'm not holding my breath.

Good Huckabee show this week
Mike Huckabee had a great show on Fox News this weekend, originally showing on Saturday but my family saw the rerun Sunday night. It was a great lineup of guests that we enjoyed hearing from ... John Stossel from ABC's 20/20 ... David Barton from Wallbuilders, the Duggars of the TLC show "18 Children and Counting," and Ray Stevens playing with Mike Huckabee's band and singing a song about 10% being enough for God ... why isn't it enough for the government.
John Stossel has spoken at the past two Americans For Prosperity conferences, spreading his common sense thoughts about government to those attending as well as viewers of his show.
I first heard David Barton speak at the Home Educators Assocation of Virginia (HEAV) convention in Richmond in 2004. I was deep into the George W. Bush reelection campaign and everything Mr. Barton said struck home. We are a country build on Chritian values and those values have been slowing eroding over the years while too many people have sat silently on the sidelines. Wallbuilders offers books, CDs, and more on American history and our Christian heritage.
The Duggars are a home schooling family from Arkansas who now have 18 children ages 7 months to 21 years. We saw their first TV special over five years ago when the father, Jim Bob Duggar, was in the Arkansas legislature ... he and Mike Huckabee are friends because of that ... and the follow-up specials led to a weekly TV show. They have the values of a Christian home school family and remind us of the home schooling families we have know the past 20 years during our home school journey.
Ray Stevens was a hit with the twenty-somethings sitting in the living room watching the show with us. They had heard some of his songs from the past ... "The Streak," "Ahab the Arab," "Everything is Beautiful" and agreed with his song about 10% for God should be enough for the country. Funny song ... but it rang true.
Good Huckabee show.
