Dem Pete Stark owes President Bush an apology....

Update 10/23/07: Pete Stark apologizes to President Bush

If a Republican Congressman said something like this the MSM would be all over them. A Dem says it and there is deafening silence. This is a United States Congressman.

Pete Stark's comment Thursday on the floor of the House of Representatives in the midst of arguments over the SCHIP issue:
“You don't have money to fund the war or children. But you're going to spend it to blow up innocent people if we can get enough kids to grow old enough for you to send to Iraq to get their heads blown off for the President's amusement.”

Bobby Eberle of GOP USA wrote:
In today's society, especially in the political arena, we have seen the steady erosion of civility, manners, and common courtesy. More and more rhetoric is directed as personal attacks, and too often, the comments made by Democrats get completely overlooked in the media.

Gen. Petraeus is a "liar." Rush Limbaugh is "on drugs." We have heard it all. But Thursday's comments from Rep. Pete Stark (D-CA) take political "discourse" to a new low. His comments on the floor of the U.S. House in which he said that troops are dying in Iraq for President Bush's amusement are outrageous and have no place in politics.
He includes YouTube video here.

Inexcusable ... Mr. Stark owes our President an apology.

You never disappoint, Lynn.
Apologize for calling out a President who spent his childhood blowing up frogs, his Texas governorship mocking a woman about to be executed, made jokes about the lack of WMDs in Iraq, ribbed people about an impending third world war, and lied this nation into an illegal an unneccesary war?
Pete stark has nothing to apologize for.
It is George Bush who owes this nation an apology, as do such as you for carrying his water and enabling him.

And by the way:
Republicans forfeited all expectation of demanding apologies from me or anyone else for anything the first time they called those who dissented from their agendae, "traitors."

Thursday's comments from Rep. Pete Stark (D-CA) take political "discourse" to a new low.

Says a Republican. You people have no room to speak of "lowering the discourse" as you've driven it into a ditch for the last ten years.
How about attacking two brain damaged children and their parents in the media under direction from Mitch McConnell's office with demonstrated untruths and smears?
For starters?
Point the finger out, SWACGirl, and you point three back at yourself.
