Oh, deer!

Driving home late tonight, I rounded a curve on the rural Valley road leading to my house and found a herd of deer strolling in the road and grazing on the shoulders. As I slowed almost to a stop, they sauntered across the road ... taking their time ... a herd of about 15 deer moving through the area.

I drove slowly past and made sure to keep a lookout as I continued on down the road. That's part of living in the country.

It's spring in the Valley....
