Priorities

Home school moms know the hours in a day are extremely important as they juggle many responsibilities ... raising children, tending to a home, teaching children, sports, civic activities, church, home school activities -- and in my home, politics. Home school moms are on 24/7.

Most have a poem of some version similar to the one below ... a reminder to prioritize in our lives and never forget our little ones. Though my children are grown, the poem still hangs on the wall as a reminder to, even now, keep a handle on priorities.
Cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow
For babies grow up, as we've learned to our sorrow,
So quiet down cobwebs and dust go to sleep,
For I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.
God bless those hard-working moms who educate their children at home.
