I am not an Augusta County voter, I live in Staunton. However, I am my mother's POA and responsible for managing her affairs. She IS a resident of the county.

I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the behavior of ALL the members of the Board of Supervisors. I doubt that I can make any changes except through my Augusta County friends but I would think that EVERY member of the Board of Supervisors should be recalled.

10,000 signatures, 1,000 attendees at a BOS meeting all ignored. A 20 cent reduction in the tax rate is needed but they are proposing 10 cents, an actual 25% tax HIKE. Absolutely wrong.

I've chronicled by experiences regarding this at http://hobie.sixshootercommunity.org/labels/AugustaCountyReassessment.html
