Congress: House Democrats' abuse of power

The Democrats in D.C. are drunk with power and that was never more evident than what is occurring on the floor of the House. From Republican Whip Eric Cantor's website:
In a completely unprecedented fashion, House Democrats have used their power as the majority party to shut out floor amendments from the minority party on spending legislation.

Right at the beginning of the debate, House Democrats decided to go to the Rules Committee, to report out a Structured Rule and shut the House GOP out of the process.

This is an unprecedented abuse of power by the House Democrats. Every American - every American of either political party or of no party at all - ought to be deeply concerned over this action.
Check out the video of Rep. Cantor on the House floor.

In the words of RedState:
This is the first time in American history the majority has denied the minority the right to offer up amendments to spending bills. The first time. Ever.
Fire up those tea parties. The Democrat party is out of control.

Soooo....the Democrats now have no one to blame but themselves. They have no GOP cover. They can't blame Bush on this one....

Heck, I don't have a problem on this. This has 2010 election ads written all over it. We KNOW that the Dems are going to screw up and this keeps our wishy-washy GOP members from the need to "do something, anything!" and spending MORE money that we don't have.

Thank you Democrats.
