After hearing about New York's State Senate and how the two Democrats sided with the Republicans to out-vote the Democrats, I received an email from a support-the-troops friend in New York saying his Senator, Dean Skelos, led the coup that grabbed control of the NY State Senate away from the Democrats.
New York Republicans, concerned about 2nd Amendment rights and gay marriage, are happy with this maneuver and, though the two Democrats did not change party affiliation, they did stop their Party from jamming more liberal laws down the throats of citizens.
In the words of Freedom Boy, "There is suddenly a light at the end of the socialism tunnel."
