6 buses from Valley heading to 9/12 March on Washington

The sleeping giant has been awakened ... and the giant will roar in Washington, DC, on September 12 as thousands of Americans converge in the nation's capital.

Included in those numbers will be six buses carrying citizens from the Shenandoah Valley ... high school and college students, working parents, health professionals, retired folks. One 83-year-old man said he is going to walk every step of the way at the rally.

No AstroTurf here ... everyone is paying their own way to ride the bus. Most have never done anything like this before. This is truly a movement of We the People.

The Daily News Record carried the information about the bus trip in Saturday's newspaper.

The Waynesboro News Virginian carried a story about it earlier in the week.

Bloggers are going ... we will be recording what we see and hear.
