House votes to defund ACORN

The House voted today to defund the corrupt group ACORN:
The House has voted to deny all federal funding for ACORN, the community organizing group that has been caught up in several scandals.

The House action came several days after the Senate took a similar vote to block the Housing and Urban Development Department from giving grants to ACORN.

Republicans, long critics of the liberal-leaning group that advocates for the poor, led the effort to cut off all federal funds.
Finally ... someone is paying attention.

But the real question is will they receive tax payer dollars by some other means. The democrats cannot be trusted. In a few months when this has blown over they will get money from somewhere. Remember this is Obama's favorite group and he has been completely silent on this whole mess.
