Virginia Republicans lead by double digits ... Dem bloggers gloomy

With the latest SurveyUSA poll showing all three Virginia Republican candidates leading by double digits, Democrats have taken a kick to the gut, realizing the Washington Post hit on Bob McDonnell did not work.

Blue Weeds' post titled "Gloomy Poll for Virginia Democrats" pulled me over to see what was the Democrat reaction:
Going into Labor Day weekend this poll shows a looming disaster for Virginia Democrats. SurveyUSA is a reputable pollster, and its post-thesis data shows McDonnell largely undamaged by the controversy and all three statewide Republican candidates with considerable leads in their respective races.
Ouch ... ouch ... ouch.

But it's not over ... it's long from over. Never, never, never ever stop looking over your shoulder until you cross that finish line on Election Day or, in the words of Del. Chris Saxman, run like your tail's on fire. Don't stop, don't slow down, just do it!

A poll with good numbers at Labor Day helps tremendously ... but Republicans need to remember to not ... slow ... down.

Election Day is Nov. 3. We can rest on Nov. 4.
