DJ McGuire for Spotsylvania BoS

It's been a busy nine months for Spotsylvania's DJ McGuire since he announced his candidacy for Lee Hill District supervisor in February.

In May he won the Republican nomination ... and hit the ground running. His fiscally conservative leadership is badly needed at the local level:

"It is time the Board and county staff stop asking the citizens of Spotsylvania to give a little more and do with a little less. It is time for the Board to make hard decisions on the county budget, not force homeowners to make harder decisions with their budgets." He's known throughout the Virginia political blogosphere as the Right-Wing Liberal but in November he hopes to be known as Supervisor DJ McGuire.

I consider DJ a friend as well as fellow blogger and am excited to see someone with his commitment and determination run to become a local leader. I'd like to have him here in Augusta County or at least clone him.

DJ has received endorsements that confirm his leadership skills.
