Massachusetts race heats up ... Scott Brown support growing

Momentum is growing for Republican Scott Brown who is running for the senate seat formerly occupied by Ted Kennedy in Massachusetts ... and yesterday's "money bomb" was a great boost to his campaign and psyche. As Riley reports over at Virtucon, at last count the $500,000 goal had been reached and doubled with over $1.1 million raised in a day.

Michael Barone at the Washington Examiner wrote, Wow! Republican leads in Massachusetts. Byron York added that health care is a weak issue even in Democrat stronghold Massachusetts.

Earlier this week the tea party movement threw its support behind Scott Brown. This morning's in-box brings news that Move America Forward has endorsed Mr. Brown who is a veteran and strong advocate of American freedoms and liberties:
MAF is extremely proud to come out in support of Scott Brown who is running to be the next U.S. Senator from Massachusetts. Vying to fill the open seat left by the late Ted Kennedy, Scott is going up against Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley in this special election Scott Brown represents a great opportunity for us to elect someone who is not just a conservative, but someone who truly knows and understand what our troops go through, their needs, supports them, and supports their missions in the war on terror.

-- Lt. Col. Scott Brown is a veteran of the US Army National Guard
-- Scott Brown is a state senator with a strong conservative record
-- Scott Brown is 100% committed to our troops, he has been one
-- Scott Brown understands our missions in Iraq and Afghanistan, he support our troops all the way.

Scott Brown will do what it takes to keep America safe and never put the rights of terrorists above yours!

Martha Coakley doesn’t understand our troops; she doesn’t understand our mission; and like Obama seems to value the terrorist’s rights even more than our own national security! She believes the terrorists should be given the constitutional rights that only a U.S. citizen deserves!

A new poll out shows Republican Scott Brown has narrowly pulled ahead of his liberal Democrat opponent, Martha Coakley, in the race for Senate in Massachusetts.

The race is now just a one-point contest, where Scott Brown leads Martha Coakley by a margin of 48%-47%.

The Democrats realize that the unthinkable is possible and they are throwing all their resources in an effort to retain the Senate seat and avoid jeopardizing the Obama healthcare bill. If we are going to win the seat, we must match their commitment and resources.

Scott Brown is a veteran who stood up for America, now it is time that YOU and MAF Freedom PAC stand up for him!
That's a pretty good endorsement. Will Scott Brown prevail and win in Massachusetts ... or will conservatives see another heartbreak like NY-23?

With one week to go, no one is sitting around waiting to find out. They are working the phones, donating money, and knocking on doors to put this one in the GOP slot.
