Noted school choice proponent Gerard Robinson is slated to be named Gov.-elect Bob McDonnell's Education Secretary at a news conference Tuesday, according to sources close to the new administration.
Robinson is the president of Black Alliance for Educational Options, a national group that advocates on behalf of charter schools.
