Former Virginia Governor and U.S. Senator George Allen considered country music legend Jimmy Dean a dear friend. When Mr. Dean passed away Sunday at the age of 81, the Governor posted a remembrance on his website.
A public funeral for Jimmy Dean will be held in Richmond with private burial at his James River estate.
