Winter settles over the Frontier Culture Museum

The winter landscape has settled over the Frontier Culture Museum in the central Shenandoah Valley. The museum is open year round but will be closed for the holidays on December 24-26 and December 31-January 2.

Holiday Lantern Tours will take place Dec. 17-22.

Dark clouds gathered with snow flurries in the forecast.
Picnic tables wait until warmer weather when families and school children will once again picnic while visiting the farmsteads.

What does snow look like on the Igbo farm? I'll bet that's a rare picture in real life.
