Live-blogging at Marriott with GOP ... # 22

Pollster Frank Luntz just went by ... Barb spotted him and called him to my attention as he rushed past and came into the media area to talk with Carl Cameron. He's animated ... what a night!

Fox News folks are analyzing tonight's races as we all wait for NY-23 results. About half the ballroom has emptied out but there are still plenty of folks partying and visiting.

Barb found Congressman Bob Goodlatte (R-6th CD) and he came by to say hello. He WAS on stage with everyone else. Rep. Randy Forbes is here ... Vince Harris just walked by.

Patrick Henry just stopped by in colonial costume ... the patriot from Ashland. John Wallmeyer ... he was at the 9/12 March on Wasahington. With photos being taken, I asked what he thought of the little boxes that flashed and made images....

Mike Thomas, 1st Vice Chairman of State Central Committee, came by to say hello and we talked about the campaign and other news. Then Trixie Averill, Western Vice Chairwoman for RPV, came up but she's still on Cloud 9 and probaby won't be down for a while. They were both instrumental in victory in Virginia.

Now I'm going to pack up and head back to Staunton ... Barb is out visiting and talking ... we'll be home around 1:30-ish. Been a great, great evening.

Thanks Bob, Bill, and Ken ... thanks Virginia. We're RED again! But our work has just begun ... we have much to do.
