Throughout the country, folks sent photos of their empty chairs -- lawn chairs, folding chairs, camping chairs, wicker chairs, office chairs, stools. On Facebook and Twitter -- #emptychairday, the chair photos and posts continued as an idea that wasn't even formulated a short three days ago caught fire and spread practically overnight throughout the country.
