A Democrat blog started a hoax, it was picked up on Daily KOS, and has slowly made its way to the Virginia blogosphere. Two conservative bloggers posted and retracted ... one just reprinted the info, the other apparently agreed with the supposed news.
Since my Congressman, Bob Goodlatte, was one of those named, I did a quick search of the internet for information and then called his campaign. I had not heard anything about this particular news through the mainstream media so wanted to track it down. I quickly discovered it was a Democrat HOAX.
