Shenandoah Valley couple featured in "Southern Living"

The September issue of Southern Living magazine's "People & Places" section features an article about a Shenandoah Valley couple who own an Asian pear orchard near Natural Bridge. "Crop of Gold in the Shenandoah" tells the story of Paul and YoungSuk Estabrook's farm and their unusual crop of Winter Gold, Sweet & Sour, Millennium, and Arriang Asian pears.

Open from late August through early December, the time is nearing when visitors are welcomed at the farm. Check out Virginia Gold Orchard which is located between Natural Bridge and Lexington off I-81, exit 180, on U.S. 11.
