"I Am Voting For The Chick" signs make Valley news

Those light-hearted "I Am Voting For The Chick" signs that have burst onto the Staunton, Waynesboro, and Augusta County landscape made the front page of the Waynesboro News Virginian today.

Reporter Bob Stuart talked with local businessman Tom Sheets who started it all in late September by placing two 4x8-foot signs in front of his Blue Ridge Lumber business that said, "I Am Voting For The Chick." Now, three weeks later, 600 yard signs and 30 4x8-foot signs are in the SWAC community and in states from Michigan to Florida.
