The Journey: "Francis Chester and Thomas Jefferson"

~The Citizen Farmer Patriot Still Lives~

Battling the giant? It did not stop the Founding Fathers who put it all on the line to fight King George and Great Britain in the 1770s.

Battling the giant? It is not stopping Churchville attorney Francis Chester, one lone man representing 10,500 Augusta County landowners pro bono against the County of Augusta. No other attorney in the area has stepped forward into this battle against the powers-that-be.

Never a quitter, Mr. Chester is moving forward in his battle against "City Hall" ... the modern-day Mr. Smith Goes To Washington.

Over at The Journey, Bob takes it a step further:
The Augusta County Courthouse [photo]. Modern lawmakers would do well to remember the voices of those who preceded them. That might help them recognize the voices they need to heed in our day ...

... and we KNOW one! SWAC Girl Continues to Tell His Story [click to read].

If it were 1776 we all know what Mr. Chester would be up to.
Send an email to become one of the corps of citizen volunteers helping in this case. Together ... we WILL make a difference.
