Meteorologist Josh Knight leaving WHSV TV-3

Josh Knight has been the weatherman at Harrisonburg's WHSV TV-3 since 2009, spending the last two years with the Daybreak team. At the end of Tuesday's 6:30 a.m. forecast, it was announced Josh was leaving to join WKRC in Cincinnati, Ohio, as their new weather guy on Saturdays and, eventually, the 4 and 10 p.m. forecasts.

Josh's WHSV bio:

Josh joined the WHSV TV 3 news team as a meteorologist and reporter in July of 2009. He graduated from the University of Miami with a double major in Meteorology and Broadcast Journalism.

Originally from Baltimore, Josh’s fascination with weather began at a young age with the rapidly changing weather patterns in the Mid-Atlantic region. Even in 4th grade, Josh was the friend everyone could count on for their weather forecast. Now after years of summer and beaches in Miami he is very excited to come back to four seasons and the exciting mountainous terrain of the Shenandoah Valley.

We will miss Josh but wish him well with his new job in Cincinnati.
