Autumn leaves and backroads of Augusta County

This tree was brilliant red today on the outskirts of Staunton.

Fishersville maple tree....

It was an overcast and rainy autumn day looking out over the Alleghany Mountains of Pastures District.

Western Augusta County....

Berries and nuts are plentiful this year. An old wives tale says that's a sign of a bad winter....

Western Augusta County field....

Dark clouds hung low over the Alleghanies....

Visiting GOP neighbors....



Leaves on our river birches are changing to yellow.

Backroad of Pastures District.... The cloud formations were interesting today....
