Something's fishy about this story
Scrolling through the blog headlines this morning, I couldn't help but notice the Democrat talking points had been sent out and picked up by libbers who posted it exactly as they received it ... a letter from Allen accuser Ken Shelton including photo of said accuser.
Now ... it's one thing to receive information and disseminate it in your own style. It's quite another to cut-and-paste it into your blog ... and into your blog ... and into your blog ... you get the picture. Ah - yes - you did get the picture ... and the letter ... and apparently the instructions to go forth and distribute to the blogosphere because I saw them coming up over and over.
Do I believe Ken Shelton in what he says about George Allen?
No way.
It's been 30+ years since their crazy college days ... and he remembers exact quotes from his college team mate?
This accuser has not lived in Virginia since before George Allen was elected to public office.
Despite Allen's 20 years of public office, this accuser has never said one word about anything.
Why now?
I would suggest looking into background and maybe current circumstances ... background for animosity from those old days ... and currently for what comes down the road for this man. Was he promised something ... or blackmailed by libbers ... or what?
This accuser said, "It is my moral obligation and I believe my civic duty to let the voting public know the young George Allen. We all have indiscretions of youth that we would prefer to forget but when the future of this country is at stake, questions must be answered and proof provided that George Allen has changed."
He believes it's his civic duty now? He admits we all have indiscretions as youth ... yet he didn't see it necessary to produce this information when George Allen first ran for public office as a Delegate? What about his second run for Delegate when he won? What about Congress ... and Governor ... and Senator. He didn't feel any need to step forward then? But suddenly he has a guilt attack and steps forward now?
I don't buy it. Where are the conservative investigative journalists?
Something's fishy in this story.
