Thunderstorms gather over Breckenridge, CO.
Dark clouds and rain in Breckenridge with snow-capped mountains in the distance.As the rain beats on the roof bringing relief to our corner of the world, I'm reminded of Colorado and the daily afternoon Rocky Mountain thunderstorms. Not only did they provide rain but also cooled down the atmosphere.
Boulder was hot the last time we visited Colorado ... Denver was hot ... Breckenridge was cool and wonderful. It's a nice memory as I listen to the pouring-down rain outside the window.
It's summer in the Shenandoah Valley....
