As George Allen often says "the world is controlled by those who show up."
The June 12 Republican Primary election is too important to sit on the sidelines.
If
you will be out of town or have commitments that prevent you from
getting to your polling place on June 12, please apply for an absentee
ballot TODAY to make sure your voice is heard. Just follow these easy
steps:
- The best option this close
to the Primary is to go to your local Registrar’s office where you can
apply and vote absentee in-person. In-person absentee voting is
available until Saturday, June 9.
- If you cannot get to your local Registrar’s office, go to www.gopabsentee.com to fill out an absentee ballot application form.
- Print the completed application that will be sent to you by e-mail.
- FAX the completed application to your Registrar (The Fax number for your local Registrar can be found at https://www.voterinfo.sbe.virginia.gov/PublicSite/Public/FT2/PublicContactLookup.aspx.)
— Applications for voting absentee by mail must be received by the
Registrar’s office no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5. POSTMARKS
DO NOT COUNT, so it is best to FAX the application.
- A
ballot will then be mailed to you. Return the voted ballot to your
Registrar. Your ballot must be received no later than 7:00 p.m. on
Tuesday, June 12 to be counted. POSTMARKS DO NOT COUNT.
Summer
can be busier than usual for many, but this election demands that we
make choosing our future a priority by voting in the Primary.
Don't
miss the June 5 deadline for submitting your absentee ballot
application to vote by mail, or go to your local Registrar’s office no
later than Saturday, June 9 to vote absentee in-person.
If you do not need an absentee ballot, please mark your calendar for June 12 to cast your vote at your regular voting precinct.
We
can send a message to Tim Kaine, President Obama and their allies in
Washington by giving George Allen a big win in the Republican Primary on
June 12.
Thank you for your continued support.
