High wind warning in Valley

Remember "Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day?" It was one of my kids' favorite videos when they were little tykes.

The weather service has issued a high wind warning for the Valley and surrounding mountains today until 6:00 pm. Yep ... it's blustery out there just like Pooh encountered in his blustery day ... the trees are dancing all over the place and leaves are flying through the air in the bright sunshine. Temps will be comfortable in the 60s ... typical fall weather.

From Harrisonburg's WHSV TV-3:
A Wind Advisory remains in effect for the entire viewing area until 6 p.m. Wednesday evening. Sustained winds of 20-30 mph are expected along with gusts up to 50 mph.
It's autumn in the Shenandoah Valley....
