Two Americas ... red and blue

"There are now two Americas. Not a rich one and a poor one; economic status plays little role in this division. There is a red one and a blue one." --Dennis Prager
So writes Bob at The Journey as he talks about the two Americas and gives background on the ACLU's slow socialistic overtaking of America and more. He also exposes the "safe schools" czar in the Obama administration, yet another of the people who surround Barack Obama.

Bob reminds us of this quote from Mark Warner that I included in a letter to the editor to the Staunton News Leader when Warner was running for Virginia governor ... the letter that then-opinion editor Dennis Neal censored and refused to print:
"One of the things you are going to see is a coalition that is just about completely taken over the Republican Party in this state and if they have their way it’s going to take over state government. It is made up of the Christian Coalition, but not just them. It is made up of the right-to-lifers, but not just them. It’s made up of the NRA, but not just them. It is made up of the home-schoolers, but not just them. It’s made up of a whole coalition of people that have all sorts of differing views that I think most of us in this room would find threatening to what it means to be an American."
Americans are beginning to wake up to this type of thinking from Democrats and the progressive left. We are seeing it at tea parties, townhalls, and awareness of addressing electeds at the local level as well as state and federal.

Do yourself a favor and read Bob's entire post.

Thanks.

Wasn't it Glenn Beck who exposed "safe schools" Czar Kevin Jennings?

Yep ... it was Glenn Beck ... but you're helping to get the word out. :)

Of course the real story is Dennis Neal's apalling lack of curiousity when it comes to candidates who find certain ordinary citizens "threatening to what it means [to them] to be an American."

Why is it only the Citizen Journalist who dares to ask the logical next question: "So, Senator Warner, what DOES it mean to you to be an American?"

Dennis, you missed a heck of a good story!
