I received an email from a Waynesboro resident with the following:
"Lynn, what is the role of Ken Cuccinelli in the Virginia Governor race? I am confused.Food for thought....
"I know Bill Bolling well; he is an ardent Christian and he is also the best man for the job. Ken is a good man, but now is not his time -- can you explain what is going on?"

I don't think people should vote on the basis of religion. If Eric Cantor wanted to run for Governor, unlike this letter writer, I don't think his Jewishness should be held against him.
