Shenandoah Valley braces for winter weather....

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Pendleton County in West Virginia and Augusta, Highland, Page, Rockingham and Shenandoah counties in Virginia from 4 a.m. Thursday until midnight. Snow showers should be starting sometime overnight and in the early morning hours Thursday, continuing throughout the morning before changing over to a wintry mix. Accumulations of snow followed by ice will make travel difficult. Below freezing temperatures into Friday will continue dangerous conditions after the precipitation stops.

UPDATE: WINTER STORM WARNING in effect through midnight Thursday. 4"-8" possible accumulation. High: 37 Low: 21.
