Bob McDonnell appeared this morning on Fox & Friends

Gov. Bob McDonnell appeared around the 7:45 point on Fox & Friends this morning talking with Brian Kilmeade about last night's State of the Union speech by President Barack Obama. Asked how he thought Rep. Paul Ryan did in his response to the SOTU, Gov. McDonnell responded that Ryan was a great spokesman for for the Republicans on fiscal responsibility ... he expressed it's a top priority for the U.S. to live within its means and gave him high marks for his SOTU response.

A clip of Rep. Ryan was shown where he noted that if we didn't rein in spending, America's best century would be our last century. Gov. McDonnell added that in Virginia and around the country we need to dig into entitlements; there are tough calls to make but Obama didn't make them. He said the president's remarks were very light on substance but well delivered ... a "B" on delivery of speech.
