Tues & Wed: House Appropriations Committee Retreat in Staunton

Downtown Staunton will be the site for members of the House Appropriations Committee for the next two days, November 15 and 16, at the Stonewall Jackson Hotel. Below is the  meeting agenda.



Appropriations Committee Retreat

The Appropriations Committee of the Virginia House of Delegates will hold a two-day retreat in Staunton at the Stonewall Jackson Hotel and Conference Center which is located at 24 South Market Street, Staunton, VA 24401. The meetings will be held in Salon A & B. Click here for a map & directions.

The retreat will include several presentations by Committee staff and outside experts including the economic and budget outlook of the Commonwealth for the 2012 Session; higher education planning; public education rebenchmarking; inmate reentry programs; Medicaid spending and health care reform.
