Snowflakes, woodstove, and stew ...

It is another wintry day in the Shenandoah Valley with temps in the upper 20s at mid-morning and heavy snow flurries. No accumulation is expected but all snowflakes that are landing on the ground, picnic table, and sidewalk are sticking.

While Highland and other areas west of here have a 100% chance of snow today, we only had a 20% chance ... but it is twenty-percenting all over the place out there! I'm sure it will not last but the top of my picnic table is now covered with a dusting of snow. Meanwhile, the woodstove is cranking out heat making it toasty inside. It's late autumn in the Shenandoah Valley....
