Thanksgiving film shot in Staunton to be shown at Visualite

It's Thanksgiving as the movie "Familiar Strangers" by Cavalier Films out of Charlottesville opens at the Visualite Theater in Staunton this Friday.

Shot in Staunton, the movie is described by director Zachary Adler as "an off-beat family film about the Worthington family and their reunion over one Thanksgiving weekend in their rural hometown in southern Virginia. The story unfolds the joy and pain of coming home, the fear and agony of growing up and how frighteningly easy it is to become disconnected from the ones we love and cherish the most."

The Visualite Theater is located on North Augusta Street in historic downtown Staunton. Contact them for times and prices at (540) 885-9966.
