The restructuring of Chrysler Corporation as they downsize while trying to survive in the current financial downturn will result in two local dealerships losing their franchises.
Paul Obaugh Chrysler in Staunton and Pat Berrang Chrysler in Waynesboro have been notified they will no longer carry the brand. Both carry other franchises and will remain in business.
Paul Obaugh will remain in operation with the Ford franchise, and Berrang will continue with Dodge-Jeep.
