Delegate R. Steven Landes, R-Weyers Cave, will hold three town hall meetings for the 25th House District. The meetings will be held in Stuarts Draft, Weyers Cave, and Crozet.
“Once again, I look forward to hearing from constituents at these three town meetings as we prepare for the 2011 General Assembly Session,” Landes said. “It is important for elected officials to listen and learn of citizens’ concerns prior to session, and town meetings provide an excellent opportunity to do so.”
The first town meeting will be held jointly with Delegates Landes, Cline, and Dickie Bell on Thursday, January 6, 2011, from 7:00 –9:00 p.m. at Guy K. Stump Elementary School, 115 Draft Avenue, Stuarts Draft.
The second town meeting will be on Saturday, January 8, 2011, from 9:30 -11:00 a.m. at The Plecker Center at Blue Ridge Community College, One College Lane, Weyers Cave.
The third and last town meeting will be January 8, 2011, from 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m. at The Meadows Community Center, 5800 Meadows Drive, in Crozet.
Delegate Landes has mailed out and posted his annual legislative survey on his website at www.stevelandes.com to obtain your opinions. You may either complete the survey online or return the one you receive in the mail by January 17, 2011.
Landes represents the 25th House District, which includes the City of Waynesboro, and parts of Albemarle, Augusta and Rockingham Counties. Landes was first elected in 1995 and is serving his eighth term in the House of Delegates.
