Christopher DeWald has removed his name from consideration of the field of eight vying for the seat of Republican Delegate Chris Saxman. In a letter explaining his withdrawal, he added that he would throw his support behind David Karaffa, the 25-year-old cardiac nurse who is in the race. The Staunton News Leader is reporting on that aspect of the race.
Meanwhile, Chris Graham over at the Augusta Free Press has weighed in on the candidates from his Waynesboro Democrat chairman perspective.
