Amy Caracofe, 17, a Fort Defiance High School senior, was killed yesterday when her car crashed on Dam Town Road in northern Augusta County. Amy had dreams of being a nurse and was a volunteer with the New Hope Volunteer Rescue Squad.
How sad for the community to lose this young lady who had such a bright future ahead of her. Our thoughts and prayers go to her family and friends.
Funeral arrangements have not been announced.
