The Democrats are reeling in Oklahoma after losing everything on Election Day to that continually-turning-red-red-red state. Conservatives there not only won the state for John McCain but they took control of both houses of their Legislature for the first time since statehood. They kept intact their record of Republican presidential wins since 1964, a record that fell this year in Virginia.

In Virginia's defense, Obama's win here was an extremely small one, and our military votes won't be counted until the 14th.
True enough ... but nonetheless it was a loss. Our record of voting for Republican presidential candidates since 1964 crashed and burned.
We also lost House seats and the U.S. Senate seat.
We have regrouping to do and, ever the optimist, I know it can be done.
I am moving to Oklahoma
LOL. Tempting, isn't it?
In reality, as hard as you work GOP Rock, and as hard as I work, we can help build Virginia into a Republican majority again if we get on message and stick with it.
NoVa is a challenge but I believe the opportunity will be coming down the road to take control of state government and rebuild the GOP.
