Candidates should clean up signs ...

Candidate signs at public events are part of politics. But when the party is over, the signs need to be retrieved by the campaigns ... and I would say this about anyone.

Sunday night, after the Republican Advance was over and most had returned home, five Brownlee signs were spied on Rt. 220 in Hot Springs around 7:00 pm. They were gone Monday morning but driving back to Augusta County today we saw several Brownlee signs on Rt. 39 going up the western side of Warm Springs Mountain, then several more east of the mountain, and then there were a couple more on Rt. 42 east of Goshen. I was a little surprised so many signs were left behind. No matter who the candidate is, the signs should be retrieved after the event by the person who put them there.
