Out and about on a Tuesday....

Random thoughts on a Tuesday evening....

Here it is 10 pm and I haven't posted anything new on SWAC Girl because I was gone all day. Working early a.m., then met a friend early in Harrisonburg and we had lunch, then errands, then back to Staunton for a meeting, then home and on the phone ... where did the day go?

I'm working on posting photos from last night's fundraiser with Congressman Bob Goodlatte for Robert Hurt (5th District GOP Congressional candidate) at Augusta businessman Tom Sheets' home ... maybe I'll get them up tonight or it may be tomorrow morning.

September is waning with the first day of fall on Thursday. Leaves are falling, and the air has a cool edge to it and is clear with sharp mountain silhouettes against the dark blue sky. Fall decor of pumpkins, mums, and corn stalks are showing up as I drive the Valley....

Got an email from a fedora-adorned Fishersville Mike at the Staunton Starbucks where he met up with Smitty from The Other McCain. The SWAC Corps continues rolling along ... one fedora at a time....

Back to uploading photos and research for more posts at the Washington Examiner ... nice to be a working girl!
