“Nico, I know you and all across the Internet, we've been seeing a lot of reports coming out of Iran,” Obama said, addressing Pitney. “I know there may actually be questions from people in Iran who are communicating through the Internet. Do you have a question?”

Politico's Michael Calderone noted that President Barack Obama appeared to have coordinated an appearance at today's press conference on Iran with a blogger from the liberal Huffington Post:

Gee, I can't imagine why he didn't give preferencial treatment to the neo-nazis at FauxNews. Maybe he wants real reporting. The day your drug addicted leader Limpbag has the balls to go on Jon Stewarts show, maybe Obama will give treasonous, anti-american rascists like Hannity a call.

SWAC Girl, I don't understand why every comment is put in moderation, why some are apporved and others not. If you want to have discussions on here, then allow all the comments...its incredibly cowardly to selectively choose which comments will show up. Its pathetic, really...and my guess is this one won't show up, either.

As to moderation ... no mystery at all. If you had been a regular reader of my blog, you would know. This is my blog, I make the rules, and you are free to read or not read. If you don't like it, don't visit.
I do not post comments containing profanity, personal attacks, or anything I consider in poor taste. That does not include those who disagree with me and debate is encouraged. I don't always have time to personally respond but commenters have started lively discussions among themselves on here.
Many conservative bloggers have had to moderate their comments due to the behavior of a few. The beauty of a free country is that you are free to not read. Don't like it? Bye!
Names don't matter...perfectly reaonsable and fruitful discussions can take place without posting identities. In fact, its encouraged that people NOT do so for all the crazies out there.
But, you're not being honest when you talk of the criteria you use for not posting comments. I know, because some of mine, which contained NONE of what you listed, have either not been posted or deleted. Strangely enough, I believe in each case I was critical of what you posted. And I'm no liberal...I'm another hateful right-winger, but one that thinks focusing on wild-eyed conspiracy theories involving Zicam does our side no favors.
You're right, I don't have to read...and won't be anymore. I hope no one else does either, b/c there are plenty of other places that actually allow the free flow of ideas and thoughts for discussion, where the blog author doesn't selectively choose what is posted to control the talk to her liking. Debate isn't encouraged here.
Your arguments do not hold water. "Names do not matter," you say ... but moderation is a big, bad thing. Kind of hypocritical of you.
First, I don't believe you're a fellow conservative.
Second, I don't believe you've had comments moderated on here. The reason I don't believe that? Because I've seen all the comments and I know what I've not published. If yours wasn't, it contained profanity, natiness, or was a personal attack on someone.
