Global warming? Then why is it so cold?

Global warming? The temp dropped so much for the 4th of July cookout that Barb wrapped in a blanket while others donned sweaters and jackets. Jerry at From On High, who always has just the right way with words, nails it again.

Meanwhile, there are some representatives who are speaking up:
U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-9) today introduced legislation that would save taxpayers $12.5 million this year and millions more in the future by prohibiting the United States from contributing to the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), which is fraught with waste and is engaged in dubious science.
Be sure to keep up with the latest global climate information at Ice Cap with articles about extreme cold and unexpected cold throughout the U.S. and the world.

2009/2010 has boggled some minds. Some places had record breaking cold. Some places had record breaking heat (Florida and Washington for example). Hurricane season was very quiet. Bottom line, 2009/2010 weather has been wierd. Why?

El Nino has been back!

You can find some great info online about it by doing a search for El Nino 2009 or 2010. It shows historical weather pattern changes and maps during this warming of the Pacific phenomenon, and how it effects our weather.
