Undetected Chinese sub gets dangerously close to U.S.S. Kitty Hawk

This is unsettling. As reported by National Terror Alert:
An unexpected visit by a Chinese Submarine that went undetected in the middle of a Pacific Ocean Naval exercise and came extremely close to the U.S.S. Kitty Hawk, has American military chiefs looking for answers.

The sub was apparently able to slip past at least a dozen U.S. warships, two U.S. submarines and a vast array of advanced technology, which failed to detect it.

The event was quite some time ago, and was discussed at the time. Michelle Malkin had some stuff, including some good info from navy folks.

Not to belabor their point, but this is a non-story. We don't blow up people in peacetime in international waters. You'll never know what we knew about the boat, or even why it chose to reveal itself, if it had a choice at all.

Those who know can't tell, and wouldn't tell because we don't give up secrets.

When I say "we" I mean the United States, not me personally.
