Green Valley Book Fair, Dayton Farmers Market ... roaming the Valley

Green Valley Book Fair on opening day....

All parking lots were full and the place was bustling with people....

White Wave, formerly Shenandoah's Pride, dairy processing plant in Mt. Crawford....

Valley farm along Rt. 11 (the Valley Pike)....

The Alleghany Mountains west of Staunton were snow-covered this morning....
A nearby farm pond....

We spent the day roaming the Valley with stops in Harrisonburg, Dayton, and Mt. Crawford. We had to stop by the Dayton Farmers Market for one of those big soft pretzels ... the place was packed with people.

A trip to the Green Valley Book Fair was fruitful as I found political books and my husband found history and collectible books.

The wind was howling today and, while it warmed up to about 50 degrees with sunshine, the wind had a chilly edge to it.

It's still winter in the Valley....
