The Obamas' summer vacation continued in Virginia

The news outlets were abuzz yesterday as Michelle Obama and her two daughters toured Luray Caverns in the northern Shenandoah Valley and Monticello outside Charlottesville. What struck me about these tours was the short amount of time spent at each place. You see, they arrived in Luray in time for lunch, then toured the caverns. When they left, they headed to Charlottesville, about 90 minutes away, where they again toured, leaving shortly after 5:00. Now they're preparing to vacation for 10 days in Martha's Vineyard.

I wrote about it and you can read it in today's Washington Examiner.

The Childhood Obesity Czarina stopped for a cheeseburger in Luray!

Mickey D's for lunch... and no guilt felt on my part!
