A northbound I-81 tractor-trailer loaded with whole-kernel corn took exit 222 in Staunton too fast and overturned on the ramp in the curve entering onto Rt. 250. The accident occurred this afternoon around 2:00, spilling corn all over the exit. The ramp was closed with clean-up expected to take at least two hours.
Gary Martin, 56, of Stuarts Draft was cited for reckless driving.
