Bob Stuart with the Waynesboro News Virginian has good insight into the motorcross track controversy that has raged in the Expoland area of Augusta County. While letters "pour" into the zoning office, both in favor and against, the debate continues.
A motorcross demonstration is scheduled for Saturday, February 23, at 11:00 a.m. by Terry and Doug Argenbright, the brothers who have requested permission to locate the motorcross track on property behind Expoland just off I-64 in Fishersville.
The Augusta County Board of Zoning Appeals will meet Thursday, March 6, to decide whether to approve a special use permit for the track.
