Hey, Scottsville Weekly ... slow news week?

By way of NBC-29 comes the news that the Scottsville Weekly newspaper has published the names, addresses, and phone numbers of all who signed the petitions asking to remove Supervisor Chris Dumler from the board after a sexual battery conviction.

The weekly newspaper published on Fridays claimed they were within their right because the petition signatures were part of the public record. Could this make citizens less likely to sign petitions knowing their information may show up in the newspapers? Could it target them for any number of reasons?

Which begs the question: Hey, Scottsville Weekly ... slow news week?
